Identifying, troubleshooting, and repairing problems in all areas of Electrical, Automation, Networks, Process, Instrumentation and Controls Systems that occur in the facility
Supporting troubleshooting, development of process/system improvements, preventive and predictive maintenance development, and contractor performance monitoring, when necessary, for new automation or controls systems.
Works with IKO Corporate Electrical Team for strategic direction, consultation, and troubleshooting. Ensure Corporate Standards are being followed and keep accurate records of any changes made to electrical systems.
Providing effective automation and controls support to plant operations to drive increased reliability and availability of equipment
Performing preventive maintenance and calibration of plant controls systems and instrumentation.
Maintaining documentation of all operational activities for future reference.

Understands how to read and translate the information found within all: PLC code, Schematic wiring, One-line, and P&ID process diagrams.
Troubleshooting, pinpointing problems, and remediate all problems
Knowledge of Industrial Ethernet Networks and network communication standards.
Skilled in use of electrical test equipment including voltmeters, amp meters, process meters, network analyzers and other testing devices to troubleshoot electrical issues.
Electrical Engineering Technology diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or Equivalent experience as an Industrial Electrician.
Experience with AB PLCs, “Studio 5000”, HMI, VFD’s, Servo, Sensors, Instrumentation, and industrial control systems.
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Possesses an understanding of calibration procedures for process instruments, which measure temperature, pressure, flow, level and composition, along with an understanding of process controls and troubleshooting.
5+ years related work experience working with/on PLC’s, HMI’s, Servos, VFD’s, electrical, hydraulics, controls, and pneumatics.
Understands and is familiar with safety systems for plant equipment such as safety PLCs, E-stops, safety relays, and light curtains.
Possess knowledge of and apply electrical standards, including National Electrical Code and UL508a, apply safe electrical work practices including LOTO and Arc Flash safety - NFPA 70e.
