Conduct sales training, internal and external, within the territory as directed by field management.
Conduct sales calls on distributors and all potential users/consumers of Hubbell products.
Complete assigned reports and manage sales tools.
Build relationships with distribution, end-users and specifying engineers.
Act as a liaison between customer and the corporate offices for successful resolution on any inoperable product.
Conduct formal sales presentations to various groups, distributors, and end-users.
Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions.
Maintain accurate account records using CRM (Salesforce).
Communicate with customers using written form, telephone, Teams, Zoom, in person, small group, conferences, trade shows and industry related social events.
Service distributors and end-users while creating demand for the Company’s product offering.
Handle claim discrepancies between the Hubbell Corporate Offices and distributors.
Generate quotes and renewal paperwork for pricing and approval.
Qualify sales leads and routes for action.
Manage assigned territory to ensure effective, efficient and economical use of available time and company assets to achieve sales objectives.
Communicate through district manager any issues, problems, opportunities, successes.
Train and support distributor personnel to sell and promote Hubbell products; manage distributor inventory/investments to ensure maintenance of proper inventories to service the trading area and maximize the “Return on Investment”.
Serve as a customer information center for literature requests, catalog requests, technical detail, drawings, and cross-reference information.

A four-year college degree with five (+) years of related Industry sales experience or a High School diploma with seven (+) years of related Industry sales experience.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Proficient computer skills- must have strong Microsoft Office, e-mail and other PC application skills.
Contractor, OEM & MRO sales experience is a plus.
Experience with ERP/CRM systems desired (Salesforce experience preferred).
Driver’s license required
