
When you join us as an Operations Support Officer you’ll focus on ensuring our specialist staff have everything they need for their deployments and training, from equipment, travel and other practical arrangements to planning and coordinating operational logistics. You’ll work with sensitive information following strict security guidelines, as you maintain and manipulate key data and records. You’ll support a number of enabling functions as you make a major contribution to the smooth running of our important work.

Operating as a key member of a core team that supports vital national missions, you’ll maintain our systems and databases to inform accurate decision making, and support the organisation of events, the production and distribution of documents and note-taking at meetings. Committed to identifying improvements and sharing ideas with your colleagues, we’ll also expect you to manage specific assets such as training schedules, tooling, vehicles and specialist equipment, and ensure their accurate distribution, record-keeping and appropriate usage.
A highly effective time manager with the ability to organise activities effectively and meet tight deadlines, practical knowledge of data/information gathering and reporting would be desirable, as would general administration experience and an understanding of supporting a technical workforce. This would be an ideal position for somebody with the right attitude and a willingness to learn, perhaps a recent graduate who wants to establish and grow a career with a front-line organisation that’s focused on keeping the country safe and secure.
