Technical Administrator

Description

Reporting directly to the Technical Director, this role will act as a central hub for the Technical function, supporting the team with essential administration, coordination and document control.

• Coordinating and maintaining the invoice tracking system and document management system to ensure consistency and accuracy
• Acting as the main point of contact for Planning and NHBC portals
• Providing administrative support to the Technical Team, including invoice processing, typing correspondence and maintaining filing systems
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the Technical Department through a proactive and organised approach
• Producing weekly technical workload updates and team meeting notes, ensuring actions are clearly recorded and distributed

Requirements

This position would suit an experienced Administrator who is highly organised, proactive and confident in a fast-paced environment.

• Proven administrative experience, ideally within a busy office or technical environment
• Strong organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Collaborative and supportive, with the ability to work effectively as part of a wider team
• Previous experience within house building, construction or a related industry would be advantageous
• High level of computer literacy, particularly in MS Office
