Providing technical expertise on projects from the conceptual and preliminary engineering design phase to final design.
Preparing detailed civil design plans, specifications, cost estimates, and bid packages.
Coordinating with architects, bridge, environmental, geotechnical, survey, and traffic professionals, to complete multi-disciplinary project deliverables.
Assisting project managers in various aspects of roadway design, utility infrastructure design and coordination, development of construction documents, and construction support services.
Providing technical expertise on projects beyond final design to through construction phase services.
Working with Project Managers to ensure that production of specifications, reports and analyses meet scope, schedule, cost and quality requirements.

Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or university.
4 - 8 years of roadway project experience in the design and preparation of construction contract documents.
Experience with developing roadway designs in accordance with Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) guidelines and standards.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation - InRoads/OpenRoads, AutoTURN.
Professional Engineering (PE) license, or the ability and motivation to obtain license.
Proficiency in 3D roadway models, horizontal alignments, profiles, corridors, cross sections, grading, sidewalk/curb ramps, ADA design, construction phasing, quantity takeoffs, and estimates required.
