Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, design review reports, and correspondence with clients and stakeholders.
Evaluate equipment datasheets, vendor drawings, and technical submittals.
Review engineering drawings, calculations, and technical specifications from EPC contractors or consultants.
Mentor and guide junior engineers in substation design, standards, and best practices.
Provide input for project planning, cost optimization, and value engineering.
Support project managers in technical clarifications, scope finalization, and contract review.
Ensure adherence to the HSE roles, responsibilities & accountabilities as defined in MS-0047700-HSE Roles Responsibilities & Authorities.
Participate in tendering activities, including preparation of technical scopes, BOQs, cost estimates, and bid documents.
Ensure all designs comply with national and international codes, standards, and client requirements.
Lead the design review and verification of substation layouts, single-line diagrams, equipment sizing, and protection schemes.
Comply and ensure implementation of the company’s and the customer’s Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures.
Ensure coordination between civil, electrical, and instrumentation teams for seamless project execution.

Experience in high-voltage and utility-scale substations (GIS/AIS of Voltage level 132 kV, 220 kV, 400 kV, 765KV)-
Exposure to renewable energy interfacing substations (solar/wind) and Grid Substations (GIS/AIS)
Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers.
