Maintains safety files and records.
Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and employees to promote and enforce a culture of safety.

Coordinates with Safety personnel in your region on requirement updates, announcements on awards, incidents, and other significant events

Advises Sr. Safety Manager on safety compliance concerns and preventative actions.
Provide mentorship and development to assigned Safety Engineers
Supervision of & administration of safety/first aid & rescue activities.

Knowledgeable of what to do and proficient in handling OSHA and Insurance provider site visits.
You must be adaptable to all types of weather conditions and traverse and inspect all areas of a construction job site, including walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify hazards and assess risks.
Ability to communicate effectively to participate fully in meetings, video conferences, and phone calls.
Proven track record of promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the safety department and across the organization.
12 years of industry experience
Thoroughly understands 29 CFR 1926 and 1910 OSHA standards and other relevant regulatory requirements at the federal, state, and local levels.
Ability to compose, send, and reply to emails and written correspondence.
Ability to physically stand, bend, sit for long periods, and squat throughout the day.
Travel may be required occasionally, primarily in the metropolitan area but sometimes domestically (must have a valid Driver’s License).
Proficient in administering a job site CCIP, OCIP, or other Insurance program.
Advanced training in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
Board of Certified Safety Professional STS(C) and/or CHST or equivalent.
Must have Electrical Safety experience
Advanced computer knowledge
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
First aid & CPR certified instructor
4-year bachelor's degree or relevant safety experience
Proven success as a Safety Engineer
Must be able to lift, pull, or move up to 50 pounds at a time.
Advanced training in OSHA Focus Four hazards
20-time Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Accredited Quality Contractor (AQC)
Ability to repeat the same movements.
