Produce mechanical and electrical engineering designs for roof and ground-mounted Solar PV projects
Interpret commercial tender specifications and requirements
Support with the creation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ), Construction Information (CI) packs, As-built packs / O&M manuals
Liaise and coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure projects meet specification
Manage staged due diligence DNO/IDNO (Grid, Planning, Structural assessments)
Hold weekly design meetings and regularly communicate with customers, senior managers, and stakeholder

Solar PV Designer, or strong Electrical and / or Mechanical Design background
Strong experience using CAD software (3D Useful but not mandatory)
A background within the renewable energy sector and experience using industry specific software (PVSyst, PV Sol, Solaredge, and Electrical OM) is desirable but not essential
HNC/HND/Degree in relevant discipline, or time served experience
Commutable to Hull
