The position is part of the Quality department, responsible for ensuring product quality through sampling, testing, and data analysis. It supports manufacturing and quality management by preparing test specimens, conducting in‑process and post‑production tests, and documenting results.
- Prepare test samples to required sizes using miter saw, table saw, drill press, and planer.
- Conduct in‑process and post‑production testing, record data, and generate graphs for analysis.
- Report audit and test results promptly, advising on acceptability and quality trends.
- Maintain and update test records, entering results into required databases.
- Assist manufacturing in monitoring product quality and support quality performance improvement initiatives.
- Work overtime, holidays, and weekends as scheduled.
- Apply basic metrology skills with test equipment and proficiently use Microsoft Excel.
