Lead, mentor, and manage a high performing engineering team
Ensure that engineers deliver projects on time and within budget, while actively developing their skills, contributing fairly to the team’s workload, and maintaining a proactive approach to work
Provide support to the Sales / Estimating team with producing fees / scope of service, as and when required
Identify training needs, develop professional development plans, and support team members in achieving their goals
Management of workload distribution and pipeline for your team in collaboration with other directors in the FSE team to achieve team objectives
Maintain a positive culture within the team
Build and maintain good relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Oversee larger, complex projects as a Project Director, ensuring high quality delivery, risk mitigation and alignment with client and business objectives

Proficient knowledge of relevant fire safety standards and fire safety legislation, fire engineering knowledge and understanding to apply technical and practical skills
Excellent project management, communication, and report writing skills
Strong leadership and team management skills, experience in building, mentoring and leading high performing teams
Relevant experience of balancing the needs of Customers, Shareholders and Employees
Ability to manage numerous challenges in a busy environment
Ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve goals
Dynamism, aptitude for problem solving and teamwork, accuracy, reliability and results oriented
Chartered Fire Engineer or significantly working towards Chartership with IFE or equivalent
Trusted to deal with confidential information
Willingness to travel as and when required
