Act as the key point of contact for the customer during project closeout, ensuring effective communication and resolution of issues.
Take full ownership of the project during its end stage.
Prepare and initiate documentation archiving, ensuring final versions are stored in the archive repository.
Manage Forex and hedging activities.
Verify closure of all financial points, including bonds, claims, costs, and invoices.
Issue closeout status reports and ensure project closure in SAP.
Ensure compliance with document control processes and maintain efficient administration of all project-related documentation.
Initiate project closeout activities at approximately 95% physical or POC progress to ensure effective and timely closure.
Take handover from the execution project controller and manage financial aspects such as forecasting, project reviews, bonds, forex, cost tracking, and cost-to-complete analysis.
Perform financial close, confirming cash inflow/outflow and ensure recovery of bonds.
Manage the finalization of outstanding project tasks.
Prepare and issue the Final Margin Report to management.
Documentation and Archiving
Lead closeout meetings with customers and internal stakeholders.

Postgraduate degree (MBA Finance, CA, ICWA preferred).
Effective verbal and written communication.
8–10 years of experience in a similar role or project accounting within construction, manufacturing, or engineering projects.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to interpret contract and financial conditions.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and multitasking ability.
Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA, FICO, SD-PS, and MS Office (advanced Excel skills).
Familiarity with project management and financial software.
Desirable experience in Project Accounting.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Proven experience as a Project Controller.
