The role involves assisting in the production, assembly, and packing of various goods, working within a team on an assigned section of the production line. The shift pattern consists of two days (07:00‑19:00), followed by two nights (19:00‑07:00), then four days off. Employees are expected to maintain high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping while adapting to different departments as needed.
- Ensure production meets specification sheets.
- Operate equipment safely following all health, safety, and PPE guidelines.
- Rotate between departments based on business and customer needs.
- Follow shop orders according to the production plan.
- Monitor product quality throughout production.
- Troubleshoot minor production line issues and resolve them.
- Escalate unresolved production problems to the Line Manager immediately.
- Help set up new production lines and procedures.
- Record production data and finished goods in the computer system.
- Label finished goods correctly.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping on the shop floor.
- Complete paperwork accurately and organize personal workload.
