The ability to effectively communicate using both verbal and written communication that delivers high levels of confidence in those dealt with.
A good electrical technical background with experience of testing.
Accurately read and interpret electrical drawings and instructions, both written and verbal (from the Production Manager and other team members), to assemble components and assist with production tasks as and when required.
Have a NVQ level 3 in Electrical engineering or experience within the LV Switchgear industry.
Familiarity with test equipment such as a dielectric tester, multi-meter, IR tester etc
Flexibility to travel to customer sites, diagnose and fix any issues
The ideal candidate should have an understanding of testing LV Distribution Boards, Switchboards, Control Panels and associated equipment.
Full UK Driving Licence.
The ability to pragmatically solve problems using varied approaches and considering all relevant factors and options before making a decision/taking action.
Proactive in approach, resilient under pressure, ability to maintain clarity and vision, and possesses a strong results orientation.
The ability to think through and adopt a clear, sensible approach to planning, prioritising, and organising tasks and activities to meet deadlines and targets. Makes most efficient use of time and other resources.

Have previous experience of fault finding and diagnosis.
Hold a current ECS Health, Safety and Environmental Assessment is preferable.
A qualified Electrician with a current ECS card.
