Tasks

-Respond to requests from clients and communicate information on time to strengthen trust in your advisor -Work with the Group Leader to inform, manage, and meet project schedules -Receive technical guidance on unusual or complex projects -Advance the design of the project with those you supervise -Responsible for all facets of product delivery to assigned clients and shares accountability for satisfaction -Become responsible for managing projects through all phases of development -Mentor 1-2 developing engineers -Coordinate and lead daily team activities with inside and outside design team members -Manage a significant amount of work as a project manager and be responsible for several projects -Build relationships with the design team and/or clients -Learn and understand contract terms and the scope of service

What You Bring

-Expert understanding of the construction process and interpretation of construction drawings -Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; PE highly preferred -Minimum 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering; field experience required; people management experience highly preferred -Expert knowledge of building codes and standards, engineering drafting standards, mechanical engineering standards, and other trades -Experiencing managing and assisting in managing project teams -Expert knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
