What you would be doing

- Safely maneuvering lab tools and occasionally field equipment on active construction sites
- Equipment: Maintain and calibrate laboratory testing equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Working in the office/laboratory most of the time, with occasional fieldwork in varying weather conditions
- Coordination of Others: May assign work to junior lab staff on small to medium projects and provide preliminary review of their testing results.
- Testing and Reporting: Conduct soil, concrete, masonry, and/or asphalt testing in the lab and report results with minimal supervision.

- Walking on hard flooring and standing for potentially up to 12 hours a day
- ACI: Field Testing Grade I, Strength Testing Technician, Laboratory Technician
- You have a High School diploma or GED (vocational training a plus).
- Lifting and carrying 40-50 lbs. of field/laboratory samples and equipment
- You have three (3) or more active certifications, such as:
- You have strong math skills and a solid understanding of weight, volume, pressure, and units of measure.
- You have effective communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking in English).
- You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction materials laboratory.
