The Role

Overview

Service tech repairs commercial fire sprinkler systems, handles calls, diagnostics, and repairs.

Tasks

-Must maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs -Retain any licenses that are required by National, State and Local codes. -Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications software/systems, programs, schematics and operational product manuals. -Must adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times -Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals, part manuals, change notices and bulletins, modification notices, etc. in order to diagnose and repair equipment.

What You Bring

-Must be able to follow, read and understand all safety requirement of the company and the customer -Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 60 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc. -NICET Level III certification or completed apprentice program to qualify for the sprinkler license act -5 years of documented experience in Fire Sprinkler industry performing service and repair to Sprinkler and Suppression systems -Follow verbal and written instructions -Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs. -Must have the ability to work alone. -Demonstrate a high level of customer service, with strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly. -Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements
