The Account Executive (AE) drives growth within an assigned territory by developing new prospects and nurturing existing customer relationships. The role involves presenting Tarkett’s complete portfolio of soft‑surface and resilient commercial products to meet diverse applications, aesthetics, and budget requirements.
Key responsibilities include daily sales calls, building and expanding the account list, prospecting through research, networking and cold‑calling, and guiding clients to the appropriate product solutions. The AE collaborates with architecture & design and distribution teams, maintains accurate CRM data, creates proposals, manages order entry and shipments, and provides weekly market updates and post‑installation follow‑up to ensure customer satisfaction.
Successful candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field, or possess equivalent experience, and have at least four years of sales experience, preferably within the industry. They are proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Dynamics preferred), demonstrate strong communication, presentation, organizational and project‑management skills, and are willing to travel up to 30% overnight.
