The Water Treatment Support Specialist supports Miura branch offices, the factory, and representatives with maintenance, production, and sales inquiries, and enhances Miura’s water‑treatment capability both inside and outside boiler rooms. Responsibilities include researching emerging technologies, creating support documents, traveling for hands‑on training, reviewing water‑analysis reports, and answering technical questions. The role also contributes to business development through data analysis, product development, and quality improvement.
Key functions include developing and integrating full‑facility water‑treatment programs, investigating emerging technologies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with sales, service, and engineering teams. The specialist provides case‑management support, technical expertise, laboratory assistance, and creates documentation such as manuals, FAQs, and calculators. Continuous skill development is supported through a four‑level career plan.

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or be a Certified Water Technologist and have at least five years of industrial water‑treatment experience. A strong grasp of water‑treatment technologies, cooling towers, closed‑loop systems, wastewater treatment, and relevant regulatory frameworks (EPA, OSHA) is required. Project management, communication skills, and familiarity with ASME, UL, or heat‑transfer analysis are considered advantageous.
The role involves standing, walking, sitting, reaching, pulling, pushing, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting up to 50 lb at varying frequencies. Employees must use hearing, speaking, keyboarding, close‑ and distance‑vision, and color perception for the majority of tasks, and travel both within and beyond one hour of the main office. Regular attendance, English language proficiency, and repetitive motion are also required.
