Piping Fabrication Supervisor

Description

• Oversee fabrication and production of building components in a commercial construction shop
• Lead and mentor fabricators, with staff reporting to the Piping Superintendent
• Maintain highest quality standards and ensure compliance with customer specifications
• Coordinate with other trades and contractors for seamless integration of components
• Manage inventory of raw materials, tools, and equipment; order supplies as needed
• Keep accurate progress records and communicate status to Superintendent, Foreman, and PMs

Requirements

• Manufacturer’s training
• Spanish and English language courses
• Emotional intelligence, leadership, and advancement training
• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• 5–10 years experience as a fabrication shop supervisor or similar role in commercial construction
• Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, equipment, and ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities
• Proficiency with computer and manufacturing software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Benefits

The Piping Fabrication Supervisor position is full-time, paid between $28.00 and $38.00 per hour, and works Monday through Friday with overtime and weekend availability as needed.
