The Interconnection Sales Specialist (ICSS) drives digital revenue growth by accelerating adoption of Fabric, Fabric Cloud Router, Network Edge, and related platform services across new and existing accounts. The role works closely with Sales Account Executives, Solution Architects, and Technical Account Managers to deliver the full value of Equinix’s digital services portfolio. The specialist acts as a business partner, developing digital pursuit strategies and supporting field sales.
Key responsibilities include becoming a digital product expert, sharing industry best practices, and supporting the growth of new digital products. You will build relationships with key stakeholders, contribute to quarterly business reviews, and identify new digital selling opportunities. Territory and account planning involves prospecting, qualifying, and executing digital services strategies to meet sales objectives, while managing pipeline, forecasting, and campaign collaboration. You will also lead quoting, negotiating, and closing activities, serving as a liaison with legal and ensuring contract compliance.
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred. At least seven years of experience selling enterprise and cloud solutions, including infrastructure‑as‑a‑service, and a deep understanding of digital transformation challenges are required. Strong technical sales, account management, and solution‑selling skills are essential.
