Description

The role focuses on increasing customer service levels by performing preventive maintenance and making cost‑effective repairs, particularly on aerial lift equipment, to minimize downtime at customer sites.

Technicians must adhere to all safety rules while diagnosing and repairing complex equipment problems, ensuring that every piece of equipment leaves the shop in proper working condition. They are expected to maintain a clean and safe workspace, conduct regular safety inspections, and meet all company, governmental, and equipment‑specific safety requirements.

• Service equipment as required to avoid unnecessary downtime and ensure proper working condition when leaving the shop
• Dismantle, reassemble, and rebuild equipment as needed
• Diagnose and repair standard mechanical equipment problems
• Fabricate parts when necessary
• Perform regular safety inspections at service level on equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the service truck or shop workstation
• Meet all company, governmental, and equipment‑specific safety requirements

Requirements

Ideal candidates have a technical degree (preferred) and at least three years of experience with heavy or diesel equipment and industrial lift repairs. Required qualifications include prior aerial lift repair experience, a valid driver’s license, strong troubleshooting abilities, independent work habits, high safety awareness, and solid knowledge of equipment design and safety standards.

• Technical degree preferred
• 3+ years’ experience with heavy/diesel equipment and industrial lift repairs
• Previous aerial lift repair experience required (e.g., JLG, Genie)
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently while remaining flexible with assignments
• High degree of safety awareness
• Strong knowledge of equipment design and safety requirements

The position offers a base pay range of $24.05 to $34.56, with rates varying by location, education, training, and experience.
