Junior Project Manager

Description

Due to continued growth in the energy and infrastructure market, this role will focus on assisting the Project Manager with day-to-day project activities, helping to maintain project progress, documentation, and communication. The successful candidate will work closely with senior project staff, gaining exposure to project management processes while contributing to the effective delivery of key energy and power projects.

• Help maintain professional and positive client relationships.
• Support knowledge sharing and team development activities.
• Assist in ensuring project deliverables meet agreed timelines and budgets.
• Maintain clear communication channels across internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development of effective, collaborative project teams.
• Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and clients as directed by the Project Manager.
• Contribute to risk identification, issue logging, and mitigation tracking.
• Use data and reporting tools to support informed decision-making.
• Provide general administrative and coordination support to keep projects on track.
• Assist in identifying process improvements and efficiencies.
• Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and forecasting activities.
• Help track progress, schedule activities, and maintain project documentation.
• Support provided to the Project Manager to enhance delivery performance.
• Develop an understanding of project commercial and contractual requirements.
• Support communication between technical, commercial, and operational teams.
• Assist the Project Manager in coordinating project phases from initiation through to completion.
• Help monitor resources and logistics to support project performance.
• Consider compliance, risk, and opportunity factors when escalating issues.
• Ensure compliance with project procedures, safety requirements, and company standards.
• Support monitoring of budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
• Promote a positive culture focused on quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Attend internal and external meetings, preparing minutes, actions, and follow-ups.
• Support project controls, documentation, and reporting processes.

Requirements

*Must have Electrical background*

• Continued professional development and increased capability in project management.
• Accuracy and timeliness of project documentation, reporting, and coordination.
• Communicate clearly when risks, delays, or challenges arise.

Salary: Up to £70,000
