Description

The Audit Lead for Project and Development Services will serve as an audit and compliance champion within the PDS Governance team, playing a vital role in ensuring project integrity and regulatory adherence.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing project audit plans, coordinating audit requirements with team members, visiting sites for audits, and conducting reviews according to standard operating procedures. The role also involves identifying non‑conformances, risks, and issues, preparing Corrective Action Reports, tracking their closure, analyzing audit results, and preparing periodic management information reports and presentations for leadership.

• Conduct site visits and perform project audits per SOP.
• Identify non‑conformances, risks, and issues; prepare Corrective Action Reports.
• Track CAR closure and ensure process compliance.
• Analyze audit results and prepare management information reports and presentations.
• Conduct periodic statutory compliance reviews and follow up on open items.
• Manage project documents and records using digital platforms such as SharePoint.

Requirements

Candidates should hold a relevant degree in Architecture or Engineering, with a postgraduate qualification in Construction or Project Management preferred, and possess around ten years of experience, especially in project audits within the construction sector. In‑depth knowledge of construction contracts, local statutory regulations, building codes, safety standards, HSE, sustainability, and related IS codes is essential.

Proficiency with project management and analysis tools such as Primavera, Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SmartSheet, BI, BIM, AutoCAD, and MS SharePoint is required, alongside strong analytical, communication, time‑management, and initiative‑taking abilities. The role demands the capacity to manage multiple assignments and effectively coordinate with all team members.

• Minimum 10 years experience in construction project audits.
• Degree in Architecture/Engineering; postgraduate in Construction or Project Management preferred.
• Expertise in project planning, design, procurement, risk, vendor contracts, cost management, QS, building codes, safety, HSE, and sustainability.
• Proficiency with Primavera, Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SmartSheet, BI, BIM, AutoCAD, and MS SharePoint.
• Strong analytical, communication, and time‑management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and take initiative.
