Serves as a Project Manager for special assignments.
Performs outage coordination functions.
Coordinates real time maintenance outages on transmission, sub transmission, system communication equipment, protective relay systems and system control equipment.
Develops, reviews, and approves Operating Practices.
Notifies proper personnel in case of damage of SRP facilities and accidents within SRP.
Provides on-the-job training for new Power Dispatchers-PDO.
Coordinates real-time maintenance outages on power delivery system facilities.
Directs restoration of the power delivery system after system disturbances.
Directs switching of facilities, issues clearances, and issues hold tags to field personnel in compliance with SRP procedures and safety practices.
Directs power delivery system operations in accordance with established NERC Reliability Standards and SRP operating procedures.
Has full responsibility and authority as a Transmission Operator to take the actions necessary to ensure safe and reliable operation in compliance with NERC Reliability Standards.
Represents SRP with other NERC Functional Entities involving real time operating issues.
Responsible for proper handling of industrial customer inquiries.
Supports Power Dispatcher training curriculum as a subject matter expert by developing and presenting training modules.
