What you would be doing

Maintains parameters within management tools of parts and flows through the production facility. Predominantly focused on improving the internal flow of material through Kaizen, reducing material handling, optimising stocking levels and modifying parameters to suit production requirements. Maintenance and analysis of the department KPI’s, providing insight into where opportunity lies for improvement.

  • Assess impact of new product launches
  • Monitor missing parts and urgent deliveries
  • Liaise with internal customers and understand their needs and constraints
  • Investigate missing part root causes
  • Resolution of quality issues caused by handling
  • Identify and remove waste from the internal material flow
  • Maintenance of delivery locations & standards
  • Collaborate with the workplace organisation to move towards the ideal production system
  • Create strategies and projects to integrate new product into the current logistic flows

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering discipline
  • Experience of MS access and advanced MS Excel
  • Interpersonal communication
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills

  • Responsive/ Logical Approach to Problem solving
  • Self-motivated and have the ability to work under minimum supervision and with cross functional teams
  • Methodical, organised, process driven
  • WCM/Lean manufacturing knowledge
  • Experience in supply chain/production would be beneficial
