Senior Manager - Development (Internal Audit)

Description

• Mentor and guide junior auditors, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the audit team
• Prepare and present audit reports to senior management and the board, highlighting key findings, risks, and areas for improvement
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in internal auditing and real estate development
• Conduct thorough audits, analyze findings, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance processes and controls
• Design and implement audit plans and methodologies to assess risks associated with development projects
• Lead the internal audit function for development projects, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations
• Collaborate closely with project managers and departmental heads to facilitate audit processes and ensure effective implementation of recommendations

Requirements

• Strong understanding of internal audit standards, risk management practices, and relevant regulations
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving
• Strong leadership capabilities, with a proven ability to mentor and coach team members
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders
• Proficient in audit software and tools, as well as MS Office Suite
• Minimum of 9 to 12 years of experience in internal auditing, with a focus on real estate development or similar industries
• Proven experience in leading audit projects and developing audit plans
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CIA, CPA) is preferred
