The Customer Services Manager leads customer fleet management processes for storage (BESS) and solar power segments and reports to the SSS Projects & Services Leader, North America Region, within GE PCS. The position is remote, based in the United States, with preferred locations in Pittsburgh, PA or Houston, TX.
In this role you will manage BESS and solar power customers, handling warranty obligations, service agreements, and spare parts orders while driving satisfaction through effective communication, order management, and contract compliance. You will also oversee spares orders, action plans, safety, quality, schedule, cost, margin, cash flow, and risk management to meet GE business expectations. Collaboration with internal GE functions and protection of GE’s reputation and technology in the marketplace are essential.
Candidates must have at least a bachelor’s degree (engineering preferred) or five years of field service experience, plus three years of customer management experience, preferably with GE. Experience in storage or solar power plant sales, design, procurement, construction, operations, maintenance, or service is desired. Strong English communication skills, the ability to engage in technical and commercial discussions, and proven leadership of multicultural teams are required.
The role offers a salary range of $91,400 to $152,200 with a geographic differential, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, prescription drug coverage, a 401(k) plan with company matching, tuition and adoption assistance, paid parental leave, disability and life insurance, 12 paid holidays, and permissive time off.
