In this role you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of geoscientists, development engineers, and field staff to advance projects from concept to on‑stream operation, maximizing asset value. You will also monitor reservoir performance, maintain well and formation integrity, plan and execute well completions, and provide regular technical updates to senior management while ensuring regulatory and environmental compliance.
The ideal candidate holds a B.Sc. in Chemical, Mechanical, Energy or Petroleum Engineering (preferred), has 4‑15 years of engineering experience with APEGA P.Eng registration, and demonstrates strong problem‑solving, communication, organization and leadership skills. Experience with thermal pads, data‑analytics tools such as Excel VBA, Tableau, Power BI or Python, knowledge of related disciplines (drilling, completions, artificial lift, wellbore design, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics) and a Class 5 driver’s licence are considered assets.
