The Production Associate assembles Sycool units and non‑foam panel door and jamb assemblies according to defined processes, completing final foam panel door assembly with handles and hinges. Responsibilities include safe material handling, maintaining Kanban inventory levels, and adhering to Munters’ Quality System by submitting in‑process check sheets. The role requires consistent observance of all safety rules.
Additional duties involve assisting across the factory to maintain workflow, meeting schedules, and quality standards, as well as keeping work areas clean and orderly. Participation in meetings and work groups supports training new employees, issue resolution, and staying current on policies and developments. Other related tasks are performed as assigned.
The associate uses hand and power tools, assembly fixtures, vacuum lifters, cranes and forklifts to assemble sheet‑metal parts, install electrical, gas, and air‑conditioning equipment, test equipment, and load finished products onto trucks. On‑the‑job training of newer employees is also part of the role.
A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required. Candidates must read mechanical and electrical blueprints, use measuring devices, possess strong mechanical aptitude, and be proficient with hand and power tools. Required training includes Munters orientation, quality assurance, safety awareness, and Assembly II Mechanics.
