Interacts and establishes safe work practices with contractors.
Conducts investigations involving near misses, incidents and accidents and ensures appropriate corrective action is taken.
Develops and facilitates safety training.
Ensure all facilities are compliant with OSHA standards and requirements.

Proactively implements all safety and risk management programs and initiatives through partnerships with all department managers and production employees across two locations near each other.
Continually monitor work environment and intervene when unsafe practices or behaviors are observed.
Leads the plant safety committees and in doing so, coordinates meetings, agenda, and action items/ideas follow-through.
Serves as point person for any/all correspondence and interaction with OSHA, EPA, and City.
Analyzes positions to identify any risks associated with the job’s tasks and properly documents findings.

Bachelor’s degree preferred, in Occupational Safety & Hygiene Management, Environmental Management, or equivalent.
Understanding of EPA and other regulatory requirements desired
