The Site Cost Controller will be based in the Broadford office and will oversee the financial performance of the Inland Rail B2A project. The role supports teams across Broadford, Wandong, Seymour and Tallarook, working closely with project delivery leaders, commercial teams and other stakeholders to provide accurate reporting and insights for decision‑making.
- Provide technical knowledge and support in developing forecasting and risk for delivery engineers
- Monitor and analyse daily costs with delivery engineers
- Ensure correct allocation of costs in the financial system
- Compile and review monthly project reports and KPIs
- Review and analyse site results against cost, budgets and forecasts
- Interpret forecasting results and recommend cost reduction and profit improvement
- Compile, review and analyse forecast information to evaluate the final financial position
- Liaise with external auditors as required
- Contribute to training of delivery engineers in forecasting
- Build strong stakeholder relationships through proactive communication
- Perform duties in line with John Holland policies, processes, systems and procedures
