Read and interpret utility records, as-built and survey drawings and highway design plans.
Supervise activities of field crew.
Represent Colliers Engineering & Design in the field and communicate/coordinate with utility companies.
Call “One-Call” tickets.
Designate existing utilities using electromagnetic and geophysical technologies.
Train junior crew members.
Work with a team of talented individuals to help tackle a wide variety of projects.
Will sometimes be lifting heavy equipment up to 80 lbs.
Utilize appropriate maintenance of traffic.
Operate and drive a vacuum excavation truck and perform test holes to expose utilities.
Coordinate survey work in relation with SUE.

Need to have a high level of reading comprehension and communication skills.

Minimum 2 year experience in using electromagnetic and geophysical designating technologies.
Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
Should be able to walk long distances of several miles daily.
Need to be able to occasionally travel out of town and work overtime.
Need to have good driving skills and a clean driving record.
May need to work nights/weekends.
