  • Ensure efficient transportation of material/furniture to minimize travel time
  • Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.

  • Perform quality reviews of work performed by team and contractors prior to project completion
  • Perform assembly/disassembly and minor repairs of system furniture.
  • Support facility management with employee moves; other duties and overtime as assigned
  • Monitors inventory levels by conducting physical counts
  • Understand and follow all safety protocols for working in warehouse and other Southern Company locations.
  • Maintain efficient receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing programs, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.

  • Must have no revocation of driving privileges within the 36 months prior to application, no convictions of major traffic violations (DUI, hit and run, reckless driving, etc.) within the 12 months prior to application, or any pending charges for a major traffic violation at the time of application.
  • Must have at least one year of verifiable driving experience (Must hold a valid driver’s license for the class vehicle to be operated. Driving permits are not typically considered a valid driver’s license).
