

Designs and manufactures specialty purpose‑built vehicles and equipment for defense, fire, access, refuse and aviation.
The Electrician will inspect, service, and repair a variety of electrical systems and perform routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. Using diagnostic tools, the technician will assess performance, calculate electrical load requirements, and ensure proper installation of wiring and components. All work is recorded in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and performed in accordance with safety standards.
Minimum qualifications are a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, a Journeyman electrical license, and the ability to obtain a security badge for airport access. Candidates must be willing to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred qualifications include three or more years of electrical experience, the ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics, strong troubleshooting and repair skills, and proficiency with CMMS and office software such as spreadsheets and word processing.
The role requires frequent standing, walking, climbing, lifting up to 50 lb, and working in confined spaces on an airport ramp under diverse weather conditions. Employees are regularly exposed to vehicular traffic, noise, fumes, chemicals and high places, and must meet specific vision and coordination requirements.
