Description

• Conduct statutory leasehold enfranchisement valuations and negotiate residential lease extensions and freehold acquisitions.
• Produce accurate valuation reports using comparison, residual, investment capitalisation, and other methodologies.
• Perform financial modelling and analysis in MS Excel.
• Manage direct client communications and develop professional networks.
• Deliver high‑quality written reports in MS Word with strong attention to detail.
• Maintain MRICS qualification and RICS Registered Valuer status.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail and the ability to see the bigger picture, with a genuine interest in the residential sector. They must be willing to learn, take on increasing responsibility, and be independent, resourceful, and highly numerate, capable of applying multiple valuation methodologies. Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially fluent report writing, are essential.

Essential qualifications include MRICS certification and RICS Registered Valuer status, along with solid experience valuing residential property using comparison, residual, investment capitalisation and lease‑hold enfranchisement approaches. Proficiency in MS Excel for financial modelling and high‑quality report production in MS Word is required. Experience in direct client contact and the ability to build a professional network are also important. Candidates must be able to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and demonstrate a strong work ethic and team‑player mentality; a driving licence is desirable.
