- Communicate with customers, team members, engineers and managers to determine possible problems or update individuals with work progress, on a daily basis.
- Maintain documentations of system installation and maintenance procedures
- Recommend upgrades and modifications to improve system performance
- Make cable and wiring connections accurately
- Decipher complex schematics, drawings, diagrams, blueprints and instructions
- Assist in the commissioning of new test rigs
- Install, assemble and testing of electro-mechanical and electronic systems in lab environment
- Partner with mechanical or electrical engineers to fine tune the testing and diagnostic processes
- Maintain all tools, equipment and components by performing inventory and scheduled maintenance tasks, ensuring calibration of equipment and scheduling replacements
- Record information and results about product performance
- Diagnose and repair problems with electro-mechanical and electronic systems, malfunctioning circuitry networks, and ineffective electronic equipment
- Operate power and manual tools safely to avoid accidents
- Support VIDAR operations to develop and execute new operating model. Tasks include coordinating with logistics, suppliers, customers and supporting implementation of standard operating process, workflows and ERP.

- Knowledge of industry safety standards
- Experience with troubleshooting sensor and communication signals connected to a data acquisition system (LabVIEW, National Instruments, Dewesoft)
- Knowledge of mechanical installation and alignment of motors
- Experience with power electronics, variable frequency drives and electrical motors
- Experience with using DMMs and Oscilloscopes to troubleshoot electronic circuits
- Associate degree in electronics/engineering or completion of a certificate program in the field
- Travel: 50%
