Reporting to the Environmental Manager, the Senior Environmental Advisor provides leadership, guidance, and specialist advice to ensure project compliance with environmental legislation, approvals, and company requirements. The role supports project leadership and site teams in identifying and managing environmental risks, developing and maintaining environmental management systems, and driving continuous improvement in environmental outcomes. The Senior Environmental Advisor also represents the project with regulators, auditors, and community stakeholders while mentoring junior environmental staff.
The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, sustainability, or a related field, and have at least five years of experience in environmental management, preferably in construction, tunnelling, or infrastructure projects. A strong knowledge of environmental legislation, approvals, and compliance processes is required.
