Revenue Milestone
Achieved significant growth by breaking the $100 million project threshold in the mid-1990s.
Largest PDH Facility
Engineering Achievement
Constructed the world's largest PDH facility by 2010, showcasing technical expertise.
Founded in 1967 by two friends in Houston, S&B began as a tiny engineering shop that quickly grew through grit and integrity.
By the late 1970s it had merged engineering and construction arms into a single EPC firm, tackling Department of Energy salt-dome projects.
They also branch into pulp & paper, advanced recycling, power & industrial, and marine market segments.
In 2021 they acquired Bibb Engineers & Constructors to deepen power and alternative fuels expertise and expand geographic reach.
Today they serve process sectors—refining, petrochemicals, NGL fractionation, export terminals and pipelines—integrating engineering through commissioning.
Often operating in complex, world-scale environments, S&B delivers large capital projects safely, on time and within budget.
