Project Manager I - Water/Wastewater

Description

• Serve as a day-to-day client contact, helping facilitate meetings, gather project information, and provide basic project updates.
• Foster a collaborative team environment by supporting communication, problem-solving, and efficient project delivery.
• Coordinate with public agencies, utilities, subconsultants, and regulatory reviewers.
• Coordinate internal design efforts by assigning tasks to engineers and technicians and monitoring progress.
• Track project performance, help prepare invoicing, and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Support QA/QC by reviewing plans, calculations, and technical deliverables.
• Contribute to proposal development by assisting with technical content, resumes, project descriptions, and cost inputs.
• Prepare design documents, reports, cost estimates, and permitting packages.
• Manage small to mid-sized water/wastewater projects with oversight from senior project managers.
• Assist in developing project scopes, schedules, and budgets while ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in water/wastewater, municipal infrastructure, or related infrastructure projects.
• EIT required; PE license preferred or actively in progress.
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience working with municipalities, utilities, or public-sector agencies.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, stay organized, and maintain project momentum.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to work directly with clients under moderate guidance.
