Support the Sales and Marketing team to resolve pre- and post‑sales contract engineering queries across LV & MV distribution networks, distribution automation products, communication systems, and low‑voltage monitoring systems, while providing technical support for automation contract engineering initiatives.
The role carries responsibility for sales and marketing contract engineering support and related activities, working as part of the product engineering team to maintain, improve, and optimise products and solutions with a focus on technical compliance and cost efficiency.
Key duties include leading technical interfaces with customers for product presentations, demonstrations, training, cost‑benefit analysis, product comparisons, and contract engineering; preparing gap analyses and compliance matrices; supporting electrical schematic and wiring‑loom preparation and technical offers; assisting new product development planning; and providing system engineering and commissioning support for automation contracts.
Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent), have at least six years of relevant industry experience, and be self‑driven with strong hands‑on skills.
The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in electrical contract engineering, specification analysis, RTU installation, testing and commissioning, integration of RMU/substation equipment with SCADA, programming of RTUs, relays and meters, and familiarity with IEC, Modbus and DNP3 communication protocols, as well as proficiency in AutoCAD, Siemens Teamcenter and NX, complemented by strong technical, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Additional desirable knowledge includes power distribution switchgear, power system protection, components such as transformers, CTs, VTs, RMU and surge arrestors, operational issues faced by distribution network operators, and excellent English written and oral communication skills.
