The Installer I works with the crew to set up manufactured homes, including removing protective wrap, handling exterior items, assisting with tire, axle and tongue removal, loading and unloading materials, organizing tools and trucks, installing vapor barriers, gathering pier materials, and performing masonry work under supervision.
- Remove protective shipping wrap from manufactured homes.
- Store exterior items such as shingles under guidance.
- Assist in removing tires, axles, and tongues weighing up to 50 lb.
- Load and unload materials; keep tools and trucks organized.
- Install vapor barriers beneath homes.
- Gather materials and help build piers.
- Perform masonry work under homes.
- Travel to each home site to support construction activities.
- Climb ladders, crawl under homes, and lift up to 50 lb.
- Use hand and power tools (hammer, level, drill, impact wrench).
