Provide direction to engineering staff in the preparation of designs, design drawings, contract documents, engineering specifications, and cost estimates for municipal road and highway engineering work
Prepare correspondence, engineering reports, proposals, expressions of interest, specifications and meeting minutes
Project management of small to mediumsized transportation projects during planning, design, and contract administration phases including financial performances.
Design integrated municipal roadway, provincial highway, transit facilities, and active transportation facilities projects for clients in the province and for other major municipalities in the province
Work with the PM in the drafting and issuance of project proposals, RFP's, tenders, budgets, cash flows, and preliminary schedules
Assist project managers in delivering large multidisciplinary transportation projects to our clients
Provide project guidance and mentoring for junior staff
Plan, organize and control project budgets and schedules.
Lead projects or technical components of projects from planning through design and technical support during construction.

B.A.Sc. or B.Eng. degree in Civil/Structural Engineering program
Outstanding communication, documentation, and proposal writing skills
Minimum 6 years of experience in the transportation design engineering field preferably with local experience in the consulting industry
