Perform orderly operation of generating units and equipment at the Peaking Stations.
Assist with routine and preventive maintenance of all equipment, assist in major equipment maintenance, and support condition monitoring tasks, including routinely inspecting and testing the condition of equipment to assure proper function of all components.

1 year experience in the operations group at the Equipment Operator or Equipment Operator ¿ Nuclear classification or above OR
Instrument & Control Field Skills OR
6 months experience as a helper (Only applies to Local 763 Peaking Station Tech Helpers) OR
High degree of mechanical and electrical aptitude
Understanding of computer-controlled processes, drawings, logic diagrams, and schematics
Pass Technical Occupation Test or equivalent as determined by Human Capital
Completion of related apprenticeship, OR
1 year experience operating at a combustion turbine or peaking station site OR
Associated Degree in Electronics, Power Plants, or related field OR
High School diploma or GED AND
