Reporting to the GM Finance, the role will involve monitoring expenditures, preparing financial reports, maintaining inventories and controlling assets for the nominated region.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Preparation of monthly P&L, preparing accruals, prepayments, posting journals, portfolio reporting, management commentary, and rolling forecasts. Support full-year budgeting and financial planning.
- Compliance & Audit: Ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures and manage internal and external audit processes.
- Contract & Revenue Management: Manage debt collection, price escalations, and contract variations in line with client agreements and company standards.
- Stakeholder Support: Provide financial guidance and performance reporting to Operations overseeing soft services.

Experience in a financial reporting and analysis role within the Facilities Management industry is desirable.
We’re looking for a driven and experienced Management Accountant to support the financial operations of a large client with multiple sites across South Australia and Western Australia.
For candidates who are open to managing a team, there may be one or two direct reports, who will require direct management and development. This requirement will depend on the successful candidate and their level of comfort in taking on this responsibility.
Compliance: Must be an Australian Citizen and must hold or be eligible for a Baseline Security Clearance
- Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Business/Commerce (Accounting); CA/CPA qualified or equivalent.
- Cultural Competence: Able to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar role managing financial operations across multiple sites.
- Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Proven ability to solve problems, manage projects, and deliver results.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Skilled in building effective relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Work Ethic & Autonomy: Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently.
- Leadership & Communication: Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication capabilities.
- Technical Expertise: Strong financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and advanced Excel skills.
