The BIM Lead will apply technical engineering knowledge within a BIM environment on large, complex projects. Responsibilities include leading a single‑discipline BIM model and drawing production team, coordinating with the BIM Manager and discipline leads, and ensuring compliance with project and company standards as well as client Exchange Information Requirements (EIR).
The role involves delegating workload to BIM modellers across disciplines, overseeing clash detection and resolution, and monitoring workflow with the BIM Manager. The leader will support engineers on drawing standards, mentor modellers, and assist with modelling when needed. Additionally, they will set up new BIM model projects, maintain model integrity, and perform QA/QC on technical drawings before final submission.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field and possess a BIM technical certification. At least eight years of experience with multi‑discipline BIM software in a design‑consulting firm is required, with overseas experience considered an advantage. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
