The Senior Pensions Manager will lead strategic pension operations across the UK and Ireland, acting as a subject‑matter expert on both defined benefit and defined contribution schemes. The role requires managing complex arrangements, ensuring full regulatory compliance and optimising outcomes for scheme members.
Key duties include setting strategic direction for pension operations, supporting the JLL Retirement Benefits Scheme as the primary liaison to trustees, handling cash‑flow and investment matters, and serving as the escalation point for complex member queries. The manager will also oversee regulatory reporting, risk assessments, PPF levy calculations, triennial valuations, and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as trustees, investment advisers, actuaries and auditors.
Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in finance, actuarial science or a related field, with a professional pension qualification preferred, and possess 7‑10 years of experience in pension administration across multiple jurisdictions. Required skills include deep knowledge of UK pension legislation, investment principles, administration systems, strong analytical abilities, stakeholder management and the capacity to handle complex projects with meticulous attention to detail.
