- Ensure quality assurance and quality control procedures are followed throughout all decommissioning activities
- Lead toolbox talks, safety briefings, and team meetings while monitoring work progress and reporting on operational performance
- Ensure adherence to CDM Regulations, Nuclear Site Licence Conditions, and relevant industry standards
- Monitor and control radiological, chemical, and conventional hazards on site, ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Assist the Site Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising daily decommissioning activities, managing site-based teams, contractors, and subcontractors
- Implement and enforce safe systems of work, permit-to-work procedures, and conduct risk assessments and method statements
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, implementing corrective actions and maintaining accurate records and regulatory compliance reports
- Mentor and develop team members, promoting a strong safety culture and adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and budgets
- Coordinate waste segregation, packaging, and disposal activities in accordance with waste management plans
- Liaise with clients, regulators (ONR, EA, HSE), and stakeholders, managing site logistics, equipment, and resource allocation

- SC Security Clearance or ability to obtain
- Proven experience in decommissioning supervision within nuclear, oil & gas, or heavy industrial sectors.
- CCDO Gold Card
