Identify, analyse, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks, including those associated with complex contract terms
Maintain strong client relationships, delivering accurate and timely commercial and contracts reports in line with client requirements

Monitor delivery schedules, progress, and supplier performance; proactively resolve contractual and commercial issues
Ensure all contractual obligations, deadlines, and conditions are met
Review plans, specifications, and contract documentation to ensure correct scope, materials, and subcontractor services are procured
Maintain an organised system of physical and digital contract records
Support and contribute to the development and implementation of commercial strategies
Provide claims support, including assessment, preparation, and management of claims and variations

Currie & Brown is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join our Abu Dhabi team, working on a complex, large-scale theme park development. This is a post-contract role within an integrated delivery team, working closely with the main contractor and wider stakeholders.

Confident people manager with experience leading and developing junior staff
Proven experience as a Contracts Manager on large, complex projects (major mixed-use, leisure, or theme park projects preferred)
Strong post-contract experience, including administration of multiple concurrent contracts
Demonstrable experience managing high-value provisional sums and complex procurement packages
Master’s degree in Construction Law or equivalent is highly desirable
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills
Experience working within integrated client–contractor teams
Solid background in claims management and dispute avoidance/resolution
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Law, or a related discipline
Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract (FIDIC experience preferred)
