What you would be doing

  • Manage storeroom operation to maximize storage space, organizing and eliminating items not required to be inventory.
  • Assist production in providing products needed to perform daily activities.
  • Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including requisition, approval, ordering, and payment
  • Manage new orders and re-orders of material from inventory.
  • Obtain proper order approvals based on policies and procedures
  • Provide training and support as needed to ensure compliance with established guidelines throughout the organization
  • Guide and control colleagues across departments to ensure adherence to contractual and process standards
  • Develop and implement strategies for R&M budget analysis
  • Review, evaluate, and approve specifications for issuing and awarding bids to suppliers through RFQ
  • Participate in quarterly inventory cycle counts

  • Professional or technical degree preferred (2-year associate degree).
  • A minimum of 3 years’ previous work-related experience is required. The Individual must have above average interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and develop individuals. Steel wire manufacturing experience preferred but not required
  • An equivalent combination of education and work-related experience may be acceptable
