Electronics Manufacturing Technician

Maintain and repair electronic components/equipment, ensure production quality.
Read and follow blueprints and/or detailed written instructions.
Define process or quality problems and report as necessary.
Documentation & Safety: Meticulously complete all production and quality control documentation. Work safely and effectively communicate status across shifts and with management.
Communicate effectively with product engineers and manufacturing management to resolve problem situations.
Interpret test results.
Manufacturing & Equipment Maintenance: Serve as the technical expert responsible for testing, maintenance, and repair of electronic components and test equipment. Perform routine calibration and preventive maintenance on production machinery to minimize downtime.
Manage multiple duties, establish priorities, and follow through.
Process Leadership: Act as the team trainer and Subject Matter Expert (SME), consistently applying 5-S principles and suggesting opportunities for continuous improvement.
Production & Quality Assurance: Set up, operate, and monitor assembly lines following SOPs. Conduct in-process quality checks and repairs to ensure all products meet design specifications.

Associate Degree or certification equivalent. One year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Be proficient in using various hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
Write numbers and letters accurately and legibly.
Read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
Certified in J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 a plus.
Have strong mechanical and electrical aptitude to understand, operate, and troubleshoot equipment.
